The exciting new brand Saxdor from Sakari Mattila, (lead designer of Axopar, Paragon, Aquador and XO) has released a new starter boat that offers a lot of boat for the attainable price tag.
The 200 Sport is known as the Scooter - A 20ft outboard boat with a 100hp engine capable of 34 knots for circa £22,000. Despite not being everyone’s entry-level budget this is a reasonable contending new boat package for the sports boat and RIB market.
The nature of this model is a light (approximately 780kg) PWC tender with all of the latest R&D from J&J Design to make it efficient, cheap to run, and effortless fun to steam about in. The most powerful outboard option is 175hp, achieving a top speed of over 45 knots on a double-stepped hull producing the smallest propellor slip tested by Mercury V6 engines.

The base model is a compact yet wide layout around triple jockey seating, which is understandably rudimentary; however, there are customisable options available. Owners can choose a T-top with alternative side by side jockey seating or an XL bench for up to four people with multifunction displays on the helm and a full coverage canvas for overnight stays onboard.
